This is an idea I submitted to my church for a logo contest celebrating 150 years. My intention with this design was to bring some modern life to the congregation, while still keeping the building at the forefront as well as using a detailed wood-cut illustration style that was inspired by designers like Peter Voth. 

The above color pallets support all of the different garments colors that will be worn by the pastor throughout the church season. I also wanted to make sure the logo would work in a gold color scheme for other future merchandise ideas.
